Today he paid me a great compliment, IMO. While driving to the store Jeremy saw several political endorsement signs in people's yards which prompted him to ask me who had my vote for mayor. I told him nobody since that was in Toledo, OH and we live in Michigan. Josh pipes up from the back with,
"I'd vote for MOM!" Good answer, Joshie!

Josh is a little perplexed by the fact that we now own two homes. While riding in the car the other day he asked,
"Who bought our old house?" When we informed him that NOONE had bought it he was very concerned. In the most serious tone he says,
"But Darleen promised us she'd sell our old house!!!! Why didn't she????" I wish I knew my son, I wish I knew.
He tells me daily he hopes someone buys our old house. I think we're all in agreement with his wishes.

One of my friends stopped over last night to see the new house. Josh immediately took Stacey and her husband, Tim, up to see his room. While showing them the playroom in it's disasterous state he says,
"This is our playroom. JEREMY hasn't had time to organize it yet." LMAO! I bet Jeremy didn't know it was his job to get that room whipped into shape.

Thursday morning Josh wasn't too thrilled to go to school. I got him up, brought him downstairs and was trying to coax him to tell me what he wanted for breakfast. While I was helping Jeremy or Justine do something he disappeared. I found him
hiding in his closet because he didn't want to go to school. LOL!

My little monster did pull a stunt that wasn't funny at all. He asked to ride his bike in our driveway. We agreed to let him. Jeff and I both told him to stay in our driveway ONLY! Jeff left and I came inside for no longer than 2 minutes. When I went back outside he was GONE. You know what? I didn't flip out. I know my child. I booked over to the house where Jeremy was playing and sure enough he was there. GRRRRRRRRRRRR! He stayed in our old yard with no problems. EXCEPT when the older couple next door came out in their backyard. He'd go over and talk their ears off. At least then he wasn't crossing the street AND I could see him from my bedroom window! AND at the old house we were WAY OFF the road. It's a totally different ballgame here. I told Tyler's parents I do NOT allow my 5 year old to walk around the neighborhood alone and if Josh shows up alone again to PLEASE call me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say Josh is no longer allowed to play outside in the driveway alone. Lord only knows what could've happened to him.
