Mema Is Old ... Heh

At the school Josh will attend kindergarten, they lay down for a rest period in the middle of the day. My mom is an avid quilter and she made Josh a blanket just for that. The other night we were laying on the couch and I had Josh's blanket. I was teasing him saying that Mema made if for ME! Of course he giggled and argued with me. We grew silent and were just cuddling. Out of the blue Josh asks, "How does an old Grandma know how to sew?"

I was surprised at what he said and asked, "WHAT?!?"

He wouldn't answer. LOL!!!!!

Again, I asked. He repeated himself. I clarified that he meant my mom, who is not really old. LOL! Won't Mema be happy to know that Joshie thinks she's an "Old Grandma". LOL! AND that he wonders how she knows how to sew. I guess she'll have to tell him how she learned :o)

Kiss Is Not Just A Kiss

Tuesday Josh had his first t-ball game. Considering his extreme love of rocks, the pebbles on the field were a little too hard to resist playing in. I went onto the field to help him concentrate. After all of the kids on the other team batted, Josh ran in to sit on the bench and wait for his turn to bat. I patted him on the head and went to walk away. He puckered up for a kiss. Awww, how sweet. It wasn't anything unusual though. Until my lips touched his and he spewed water all over my face!!!!!!
