The Josh Chronicles

A few Josh stories from this week. I can't remember all of them ... and not all of them are hilarious. But it sure shows 'who' my little man is.

The Toothbrush

Tuesday Josh had his teeth cleaned at the dentist. He was in the room by himself, as I was having mine cleaned also. When he finished he came out with a toothbrush for himself AND one for his dad. Later Josh tells me that he first asked for one for me and the hygenist told him I'd get my own when I was done. Then he asked for one for Jeremy. Again she told him Jeremy would get his own when he was done. So, then Josh asks for one for Jeff. The lady gave him one. She must have realized that this child was not going to be happy if he didn't get to leave with TWO toothbrushes LMAO! Of course he picked ORANGE.

The Prize Box

When checking out of the dentist Josh tried to take THREE prizes. I made him return two, as it's one per child. The receptionist didn't say he couldn't have three, but she didn't say it was okay either. YK? So, I did what I thought was right. Jeremy finished after us and was getting his prize and Josh asked to go back with him. Well, guess what he did? He 'stole' another prize! Jeremy comes out and tells me and I literally had to chase Josh around the waiting room 3 times to catch him, remove the extra prize from his pocket. Talk to him about 'stealing' and make him put it back! Lord help me NOW. This child is sooooooo determined.

I Think I Want To Be Like My Big Brother ...

Jeremy has been spending the night at my sisters house a lot lately. Wednesday night was no exception. The only difference was that when Josh heard me making the plans Tuesday he BEGGED to go also. Tina agreed and picked both of them up from the babysitter Wednesday.

That night when I got home from work, I took the baby in the bathroom with me. I took my eye off of her to wash my face and she fell into the bathtub! Instantly she had a HUGE purple knot on her head. She was VERY easy to comfort though. I tried to ice it, but she threw a fit. In my mind there was no point in making her scream just for the ice, the pressure in head head from the screaming voided any affect the ice had. Just to be sure I call my sister Tina. She's an ER nurse. She happened to be at the store by my house and agreed to stop by and take a look at her. 45 minutes later Tina, Josh, and my niece Kayla, arrived. I was right, Justine was just fine.

Guess what? My little man decided he was staying with his mommy. He was NOT going back home with Aunt Tina. Guess he doesn't want to be like his big brother as much as he originally thought. He DID however sleep in Jeremy's bed by his choice. He usually sleeps with me.
